(Brake Fluid should have been replaced and brakes checked and bled as part of service but have my doubts as to this being done)

Just to top it all off 40% off the BMW value service (£339.00) is £205.00 so nowhere near £274.00 paid for the service done by Halfords it's a pity they can get away with quotes like that by adding the words 'up to 40% cheaper'

Further to these items an oil leak was reported but have no idea as to where it is coming from the only help I got from the centre was that I should get the engine steam cleaned and they would then se if they could find where it was coming from (At further cost to me)

Booked into Halfords Autocentre Stockton on Tees for a Major 24,000 miles service at a web quote price of £239.00 got to the centre and had to add £35.00 for Platinum Plugs (as expected). I left the car and was told they would call me when ready.

BMW Service for same vehicle quoted online £339 As well as undergoing a comprehensive inspection, the oil and oil filter in your BMW are replaced along with the all important microfilter. The spark plugs (petrol) or fuel filter (diesel) and engine air filter are also replaced to maintain performance and efficiency.

they are not out to do you a service they are there to find faults and charge extortionate prices for repairs. unsuspecting customers who are pulled in by cheap quotes will find that a 33p bulb will cost £9.00 to replace and that the MOT could not have been done properly as we have found £500.00 worth of Brake problems which the MOT station failed to pick up on.
